On Thursday night, the Liverpool and Cicero-North Syracuse girls swim teams will go head-to-head at Fulton’s Granby Elementary School, a regular-season finale for both sides.
First, though, they both went to Nottingham for last Friday’s Salt City Athletic Conference championship meet, where the Northstars’ duo of Madeline Thorne of Kaitlyn Carroll pulled off a 1-2 finish in the diving competition.
Thorne, with her 431.25 points, beat out Carroll, who earned 388.20 points, just a small part of a strong meet for C-NS that spread to the individual races, too.
