Diana Rhoades, 42, of Cazenovia, passed away peacefully Wednesday morning, April 24, 2019, at University Hospital with her loving family by her side. Diana was born in Frankfort, Germany and grew up in Fabius. She was a graduate of Fabius Pompey High School in 1994 and attended SUNY Morrisville. Diana was employed at Continental Cordage before she became a caregiver with Liberty Resources. She had a passion for helping people in need, either with developmental disabilities or helping someone get through a tough situation. Diana enjoyed being outdoors, spending time in her garden tending to her flowers, camping and traveling.
She is survived by her companion of nine years, Michael P. Lowell of Cazenovia; her mother, Betty Rhoades of Canastota; her two sisters, Michelle (Steven) Friend of Anchor Point, AK and Marlene Rhoades of Ocala, FL; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. Diana was predeceased by her father, John Rhoades, Jr. in 2012.
A service of remembrance will be held at 1 p.m., Sunday, April 28, 2019 at the Perryville United Methodist Church, 2770 Perryville Road, Canastota.
