In marking another year of achievement, the Friends of Lorenzo will host its 43rd annual meeting at 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 15, at the Lincklaen House, 79 Albany St., in Cazenovia. All are invited to the event, which will feature a special presentation by Michael G. Roets, Lorenzo State Historic Site Manager, titled, “An Archaeological Journey of Historic Preservation.”
Roets will share how his love of history inspired his career in archaeology and preservation and how that path recently brought him to Lorenzo. In his slide show presentation he will discuss details of his greatest New York state and Central American archaeological discoveries. A reception will be held immediately following the annual meeting and presentation.
