To the editor:
Judy is a person that truly cares about the residents of Cicero and where their tax dollars are being spent.
After leaving office as our supervisor in 2011, Judy has continued her commitment to our town. She never gives up fighting for our rights as citizens of the town of Cicero. Judy is at all town board meetings; she researches the agenda items, she is prepared to speak using her knowledge and experience making sure that there is as much open government possible brought to residents.
The residents were promised an opportunity to vote to spend over $9 million to build a new highway garage. That promise by the existing board didn’t happen. Judy continued to show her leadership for all residents, working with others to gather enough signatures to call a special election. Regardless of the outcome, taxpayers were given the opportunity to vote.
Judy believes that town of Cicero taxpayers should be a part of any decision-making when such large sums of money are proposed to be spent.
We need to have a voice on the board that has common sense, experience, integrity and has proven to be effective.
Every single vote matters. Vote on Tuesday, Nov. 7. Make that difference to elect the best candidate who is fair and who will work for you.
Judy Boyke is the best candidate!
