To the editor:
I still believe Manlius is great because it is good. Good at its core. Good at its heart. Good at its very essence.
I still believe Manlius deserves a mayor who is passionate about preserving its core village values of continuity, spirit and the strong bonds that have held community our village together since 1813.
I still believe Manlius needs a mayor who has the vision to transform it into a sustainable, hybrid village for the 21st century and beyond.
While the outcome on Election Day may not be what many of us had hoped for, please remember my motivation to serve as an elected official has always been about something greater than myself or any of my opponents — and that is the mighty village of Manlius I have been blessed with both success and setbacks in my life; blessed because each one has helped forge my character, lift my spirit and sharpen my focus. Manlius has always been and always will be the continuous thread in the colorfully textured tapestry that is my life.
Never stop believing in Manlius. Our village values and views are worth fighting for. Make sure your voices are heard, not just on Election Day, but every day. The village of Manlius is worth it.
