Nearly 30 businesses in the town of Manlius will be promoting “Live Local, Buy Local” throughout the month of October through different sales and promotions. This month-long event is being organized by the Greater Manlius Chamber of Commerce as a way to get residents to support their local businesses.
The following businesses offer different sales, deals and events throughout the month of October: All Things Oz, Anytime Fitness, Bankers Life — Tim Moore, Brookdale East Side, Carrabba’s Italian Grill, the Cavalry Club, Creative Environment Day School, the Fayetteville Senior Center, Feats of Clay, Four Season Gold and Ski Center, Geddes Federal Savings and Loan, Guardian Angels by Lisa Lopez, Huntington Learning Center, J.P. Mulligans, Knox Nutrition and Chiropractic Care, the Manlius Historical Society, Manlius Jewelry and Repair, Metro Fitness East, Minoa Can & Bottle Return, Montessori School of Syracuse, Murphy’s Specialized Pastry, Owera Vineyards, Paola Kay, Revercomb Dental Group, Robin Pinkiert’s Logos & Images Anywhere, Saving Face Barbershop, SECNY Federal Credit Union, The Wine House, Wild Birds Unlimited, Wordlink Travel and Young Living Essential Oils and Yoga.
In addition to the many sales, a selfie contest will be held where any customer who takes a picture of themselves with their receipt from any of the 246 chamber member businesses by Oct. 31 will be put into a drawing to win a $50 gift card of any chamber member they choose. The photo can be posted to the chamber’s Facebook page or emailed to [email protected]. Participants can enter as many times as they’d like.
