United Church of Fayetteville to perform Blessing of the Animals at F’ville Festival

The United Church of Fayetteville invites all families to bring their pets (on leashes or in cages) for a Blessing of the Animals ceremony at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, at the Fayetteville Festival in Beard Park. This event will celebrate the spiritual relationship between humans and beast and the importance of animals in people’s daily lives. United Church of Fayetteville will join with other local organizations at Beard Park for a day of celebration and camaraderie as it also hosts a Harvest Market. All are invited to visit the booths of many non-profit organizations from Fayetteville and sample goodies.
