There will be a Prayer Service for Peace on September 11, 2016 at Holy Family Grotto on Shrineview Avenue (Syracuse, NY 13219) at 6 – 6:45 p.m. (Service will be in the Church if the weather does not cooperate.)
On September 11, 2001, one of the most horrific tragedies in the history of our nation happened. Terrorists, with the sole plot of instilling evil in our hearts, brutally murdered 2,996 people and changed the lives of millions of people. Many were family members, friends, co-workers, and even those who were not directly affiliated with people in New York were affected. Thankfully, the power of God is greater than the power of evil! In the days, weeks, months, and years to follow, our nation came together with the hope of promoting peace in our world! At Holy Family’s Prayer Service for Peace, our Life Teen program will be not only praying for those affected by evil throughout our world, but we will pray for the increased prevalence of peace! Come and join us for this absolutely beautiful evening of prayer, music, and fellowship! All are welcome!
