Leah S. Smith, 87

, of Westminster Manor in Auburn, passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2016,  at The Commons on St. Anthony.  Born in Chinchilla, PA, she graduated from Abington Heights in Clarks Summit, PA, resided in Conklin, N.Y., for 54 years and a was a member Trinity Memorial Church in Binghamton. She worked for Susquehanna Valley Central Schools for 18 years. She enjoyed baking bread, sewing, knitting, weaving baskets but her most important focus was being the most loving caregiver of her children and husband. Lee was predeceased by her husband of 53 years Edward F. Smith; two sons William Edward and Gordon Edward Smith; a daughter Judith Anne Smith; a brother Hayden; two sisters Mary Samuel and Jeanne Winebrake.
Lee is survived by her daughter Nancy Lee (Martin) Siefka of Skaneateles; two grandchildren Leah Martina Siefka and Alison McGuire Siefka; a brother Gordon (Jeanne) Samuel of Pensacola, FL; a sister Rae (Henry) Camin of Clarks Summit, PA; 13 nieces and nephews.
