Cicero — Cicero-North Syracuse High School is excited to announce this year’s fall musical, “Nunsense.” This family-friendly and funny show will take place at 7 p.m. Nov. 12 and 14 in the high school auditorium.

‘Nunsense’ follows the crazy antics of five nuns from the Little Sisters of Hoboken convent. When their cook accidentally serves up some tainted soup, 48 of the sisters are poisoned and die, leaving only 13 living nuns who were not at home but playing Bingo at another convent and missed the “killing dinner.” When the convent’s first-in-charge Reverend Mother Regina splurges on a plasma TV, the sisters find themselves strapped for cash, as they still have four dead nuns to bury (whose bodies are being stored in the kitchen freezer!). The nuns decide to put on a show in order to raise the rest of the money before the health department discovers their secret.
The show is directed by Holly Wilson, with musical direction by Margaret Wood and choreography by Kerry Gilberti. Barbara Soule is the producer, Caryn Patterson is the high school liaison and Jessica Ancillotti is stage manager.
The cast includes: Sophia Frontale (Sister Leo), Saraya Laughlin (Sister Hubert), Lexi Lombardo (Sister Amnesia), Brittany Pratt (Reverend Mother) and Danielle Roach (Sister Robert Anne). The ‘sisterhood’ includes Stacie Cerenzia (Sister Nina), Kayla Fairbanks (Sister Christine), Brooke Leden (Sister Brenda Allen), Alexis Martin (Sister Catherine), Lexi Pascarella (Sister Lucy), Taylor Stone (Sister Cecelia), Hannah Williams (Sister Rosemarie) and Tricia Colunio (Sister Mary Catherine).
Pit orchestra members are Nick DiMaria, Maggie Morgan, Stephan Schermerhorn, Josh Moore and Mark Adamski.
Tech crew members are Kayla Miller, Genevieve Nicotra, Becca Roger, Britt Ancillotti, Jasmine Goldthwait, Sarah Dubois, Chris Suppa, Matt Sorensen, Jacob Ancillotti, Kiana Garrera and Kristen Aviles.
