Cicero — Gillette Road Middle School will perform “Disney’s Lion King Jr.” at 7 p.m. March 17, 18 and 19 in the school auditorium, located at 6150 South Bay Road, Cicero. This musical has just been released within the past year for performance by schools and community groups.
Domenic Liccione (musical director), Bill Verity (show chorus), Kaci Toms (choreography), Karl Hughes (lighting design), Anthony Fiumara (sound), Nancy LaRosa (costumes), Mark D’Alberto and Mike Shehadi (stage crew) and Linda Hurn (production manager) have been working with a talented cast and crew of more than 110 students to present this extravaganza. The cast features Brady Marchak as Adult Simba, Brooke Blaisdell/Kaley Bristow as Adult Nala , Sarah O’Rawe/Paloma Ibanez as Rafiki, Madison Ciszewski /Sam Klein as Pumbaa, Giovanni Heater/Kate Capone as Timon, Ethan Mone/Jacob Garofalo as Scar, Olive Crawford/Julia Kulakowski as Young Simba, Allison Newton/Lily Thorne as Young Nala, Delaney Casey/Gianna Galante as Shenzi, Sydney Wright as Banzai, Andrew Hunter as Ed, Grace Sugrue/Alexa Kowbel as Zazu, Aiden Long/William Darko as Mufasa, Jolie Barnello as Sarabi and Jaden Orloff as Sarafina.
