Voters in the Baldwinsville Central School District overwhelmingly approved the Baldwinsville Public Library’s budget Thursday, April 23.
The proposed property tax levy of $1,411,900 for 2015-16, a total impact of $63.88 on a $100,000 house, was approved by a margin of 226 to 26. The increase amounts to $0.33 over last year.
In addition, voters selected two trustees to the library’s board. Susan Downey was reelected to a five-year term with 154 votes, beating out Denise Agrippino (43 votes) and Craig Maguire (43 votes). Also elected was Carlo Cuccaro, who garnered 208 votes. He will fulfill the remaining year of Jacqueline Olmsted’s term.
