The Baldwinsville Central School District Board of Education honored a former board member and 16 art students at the board’s meeting on March 21.
The board honored Mark Manning for his years of service to the board from July 2008 to February 2011. During his years in office, Manning served on the Board’s Audit Committee and Insurance Committee.
Sixteen students were honored for receiving awards in the 2011 CNY Scholastic Art Awards competition, sponsored by M&T Bank in January. Their artwork was selected from over 4,500 entries.
