Library Board Meeting | Tuesday, December 10 at 6:30 PM | The Library Board is made up of community members who volunteer their time and skills to further the mission of the library. All meetings are open, and the public is welcome to attend.

Cookbook Club: Scandinavian | Wednesday, December 18 at 6:00 PM | All are welcome! Bring a prepared dish to share based on the month’s theme and the cookbook/recipe that inspired the dish. Everyone will have a chance to sample dishes from an assortment of cookbooks while only having to prepare one dish. Make sure you come hungry! Registration is requested so that we know how many places to set at the table! For adults.
Winter Solstice Celebration | Friday, December 20 from 4:00 – 6:00 PM | Slow down and embrace winter during this Solstice Celebration. Indoor and outdoor activities will help you connect to nature, yourself, and your loved ones. All ages.
Tiny Art Craft Kits | Available beginning December 21 | First come, first served
Be creative and have fun making tiny art. Use this 4×4 canvas to paint, collage, or draw a very small masterpiece and then return it to the library by Monday, January 20th to be displayed as a part of our Tiny Art Show. All artists are invited to join us for a reception on Wednesday, January 29th from 4:00 – 6:00 PM. For all ages.
Guitar Concert: Great Lakes Guitar Orchestra | Saturday, December 21 at 7:30 PM | Conducted by Ken Meyer, currently serving as a lecturer/affiliate artist at Hamilton College and Syracuse University, the 15+ members of the “guit-orchestra” are some of the knowers and lovers of the guitar in our community. The performance will feature festive holiday music for 2, 3, 4 and more guitars. Fans of the series won’t want to miss this love letter to the instrument and the people who play!
Parachute Exploration | Friday, December 27 at 10:30 AM | This 30 minute program features a variety of songs and activities using the parachute. For ages 2 – 5 with an adult.
Noon Year’s BINGO | Tuesday, December 31 from 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM | Ring in the “noon” year at the library! We’ll play several rounds of BINGO while we countdown to noon and toast with glasses of sparkling juice. Every child will win a small prize during our BINGO game. For ages 5 – 8 with an adult.
