The Cazenovia Chamber of Commerce is inviting a representative from every area non-profit group to attend an April 1 meeting.
“We may be able in some way to cross and help each other, and we don’t even know it,” said Ralph Monforte, chairman of the Greater Cazenovia Area Chamber of Commerce.
The meeting will be held at the Cazenovia Public Library April 1 at 7 p.m. Representatives are invited to bring their calendar for the next year and to present one project or fundraiser for their groups, Monforte said.
“We’d like to sit around the table and talk about the projects that different groups are involved in — to see if we might have some way to share between organizations or collectively,” he said.
In addition to possible opportunities for collaboration between non-profit groups, Monforte also hopes that the meeting will result in more publicity for the groups.
“We’re trying to bring all non-profit calendars together under the Cazenovia Chamber website, so people can find the information in one place,” he said.
Those planning to attend can contact Rich Borsellino at 655-9243 or [email protected].
Monforte plans on making this meeting an annual event.
“It’s the first time ever that all the non-profits have been invited and could possibly be under one roof,” he said.
