Amid all the July 4 festivities, there will be a parade just for children and their teddy bears in Cazenovia.
The Cazenovia Public Library and Cazenovia Children’s House Inc. will again sponsor the “Teddy Bear Parade” at 10 a.m. Saturday July 3.
Children of all ages are invited to meet at Cannon Park with their favorite teddy bear and their parents, grandparents and/or baby-sitters. Singing with the bears will begin at Cannon Park at 10 a.m., with the march down the sidewalk of Albany Street to the Library beginning at 10:15 a.m. Families are encouraged to decorate their wagons, strollers, trikes, and bears to add to the festivities.
The parade will conclude on the library lawn with more singing, activities and refreshments.
In case of rain, the festivities will be held in the Library Community Room.
