Cazenovia Lake Family Fun Day is planned for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday July 17 at Lakeland Park.
The event will be a “celebration of the lake,” featuring a kids fishing derby from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for children 12 and under and swimming races from 10 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 2 p.m. The fishing derby is sponsored by the Fenner Conservation Club and NYS Department of Conservation. The lagoon will be stocked with large and small fish. The swimming races are sponsored by the Cazenovia Recreation Swim Program.
Food from Buzzy’s Weiner Wagon will be available, and Syracuse Yacht Sales and Camillus Kayak will provide canoes and kayaks for the day.
