Nancy J. (Lee) Capron, 69, of Camillus, formerly of Skaneateles, and wife of Jack B., passed away on Friday, Aug. 19, 2022, at St. Luke’s Memorial Hospital, New Hartford, while under the loving care of her husband and family.
Nancy was born in Lowville, on Oct. 9, 1952, a daughter of Paul A. and Jaun Rowell Lee. She grew up on the Lee family farm on Route 12, near Boonville, and graduated from Adirondack Central School, Boonville, with the Class of 1970. Thereafter, Nancy attended and graduated from Central City Business Institute, Syracuse and was employed as a legal secretary for Hiscock Law Firm of Syracuse.
On June 14, 1975, Nancy was united in marriage with Jack B. Capron, in Marietta, N.Y. The couple resided in Skaneateles for many years before relocating to their present home in Camillus.
Nancy was an active member of the Skaneateles Presbyterian Church and, through her church membership and other organizations, Nancy will be lovingly remembered as a kind person who was always endeavoring to better the lives of others.
Nancy really knew how to light up a room. Her goal was to spread happiness to those around her. Her family will always remember the way she made every holiday special through the games and activities she created. She will be sadly missed by all those she touched.
In addition to her husband, Nancy is survived by one daughter, Kimberly Murphy (Brian) of Warners, N.Y., and their children, Jack and Kylie; two sons, Michael Capron (Megan) Hilliard Ohio, and their children, Austin and Ethan and Jason Capron (Irene) of Warners, N.Y., and their children, Finley and Layla; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda and Larry Vicks, of Skaneateles, Amy and Scott Griffin, of Boonville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Dave, of Boonville, Pete and Connie Lee, of Boonville, Mark Lee, of Boonville and brother in law and sister-in-law, Jim and Ann Capron, of Boonville.
