Edward A. Link, 83, of Cazenovia, passed away Saturday, Feb. 5, 2022. He was born Aug. 14, 1938, in Poolville, one of seven children to Walter P. and Ann (Furze) Hill. Ed was a graduate of Hamilton High School in 1955 and served in the U.S. Army from 1961 until his honorable discharge in 1963. He was employed as a truck driver with Axe & Arthur Motor Express in Syracuse for over 30 years and was a member of the Teamsters Local 317, Syracuse. Ed was an avid bowler and played on several leagues throughout the years, he also enjoyed playing cards and board games with his family.
Ed is survived by his wife of 53 years, Carole “Cookie” Link; his children, William (Maria) Link and Cindy Link; his siblings, Fred (Jeanie) Link, Stuart (Nora) Link, Dolores Rodman, Dorothy (Willard) Fuller, Barb Burgess and Butch Hill; one grandson, Michael Link as well as several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, June 11, 2022 at Michael E. Brown Funeral Services, 2333 Fenner Road in Cazenovia.
