SKANEATELES — The combined Elementary, Middle, and High School PTCs will be hosting a “Meet the Candidate” night on Monday, May 9 from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.
All eligible voters and SCSD teachers, staff, and administration are invited to this event. The five candidates running for board of education seats this year are Gary Campbell, Tim Chiavara, Tonya Coleman, Danielle Fleckenstein, and Jeff Goldberger.
The evening will begin with a brief tour of the new facilities at 6 p.m., led by building principals Michael Caraccio and Gregory Santoro.
“Meet the Candidate” introductions will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Skaneateles High School cafeteria.
Each candidate will be offered five-minutes to introduce themselves and their platform.
Following the introductions, community members will have the opportunity to informally interact with the candidates.
This event is an opportunity for candidates to share their goals and to answer questions from fellow community members. Light refreshments will be provided by the Skaneateles Schools PTC.
The tour will begin in the high school commons, which is the large glass entrance on 35 East St.. Parking is available in the East Street parking lot.
