Joanne Ruth Donohue, age 81, died peacefully at home in Clermont, FL, with her family by her side, on July 11, 2021, after her courageous battle with cancer.
Joanne was born Aug. 30,1939, to Willard and Ruth Dudley in Liverpool. She had eight brothers and three sisters. She graduated from Liverpool High School and was a member of Moyers Corners Fire Department’s Women’s Auxiliary and Women of the Moose. She had resided in Warners and Baldwinsville. Joanne was married to her husband, John Donohue, for 58 years.
Joanne is survived by her husband, John, her three daughters; Kathleen Paulsen, Denise Bronne, and Diane Donohue and her three grandsons; Mitchell Bronne, Hayden Bronne and Carson Paulsen.
Joanne loved gardening and tending to her plants. She enjoyed baking, traveling and going to new places. She loved to find bargains when shopping, and was always excited when she found an antique for a good price. She was known to many because of her kind and generous nature, and will be missed by all who met her.
Family and friends are invited to join her celebration of life on Aug. 18, 2021 at 11 a.m., at St. Mary’s of The Assumption Catholic Church, located at 47 Syracuse St., Baldwinsville, NY 13027.
