CENTRAL NEW YORK – If anything, what the Fayetteville-Manlius girls golf team is showing is that it can win with both of its sides regardless of the opposition.
The unbeaten F-M Green side continued to post low scores wherever it went, routing Liverpool 148-188 at Hickory Hill last Tuesday led by a 36 from Bella Fullmer.
Lindsey Chong and Erin Graves tied for second with 37, one shot behind Fullmer, while Elizabeth Noel finished with a 38. All of them topped the low Warriors round of 45 from Della Budlong.
A day later at Greens at Beaumont it was the Hornets handling Cicero-North Syracuse Green 161-229, with Fullmer’s 38 the top individual round. Maya Moody was second shooting 40, while Noel put up a 41 and Chong added a 42.
F-M White improved its mark to 4-2 last Monday at Geen Lakes beating C-NS Green 208-221. Emma Li, with a 44, had the low round by five strokes over Adaline Davies and Megan Dumas, all ahead of the 53 from the Northsras’ Grace DiOrio which led her side.
A day later F-M White rolled past Baldwinsville White 202-242, Katherine Parmley’s 49 the low individual round one clear of 50s from both Li and Dumas. Davies shot a 52 to add to the margin as only Kate McManus, with a 52 of her own, broke 60 for the Bees.
Then it was another victory on Wednesday 155-161 over West Genesee at West Hill Golf Course. Though Li’s 37 trailed the 34 by the Wildcats’ Elliana Kent, Parmley shot 38 and Davies shot 39, with Charlotte Pipes earning a 41.
