Share your ‘IDEAS’ at community conversations or public forum

Beginning Saturday Sept. 25, the Initiative to Develop and Engage Audiences in Syracuse Collaborative, will hold a series of eight community conversations and a city-wide public forum to gather resident input on arts, culture and entertainment activities in Onondaga County and beyond.

IDEAS Collaborative is a partnership of local funders and arts and culture organizations, currently conducting a nine-month study of how to grow and sustain audiences by engaging the community directly and analyzing what motivates people to join in arts, cultural, heritage and entertainment activities.

Community conversations will last an hour and a half. The public forum scheduled for 1:30 to 4 p.m. Sunday September 26 at OnCenter is co-sponsored by CNYSpeaks and the Cultural Resources Council.

Registration is not required for any of the community conversations, but are encouraged for the Sept. 26 forum which will allow participants to be involved directly in the conversation through the small-table work that is the hallmark of a CNYSpeaks event.
