Moving its record back to the .500 mark, the Baldwinsville girls swim team won at home last Tuesday night, taking out Rome Free Academy 52-39.
Carly Gummer sped to a time of 26.16 seconds in the 50 freestyle after helping Kelly Noll, Elena Margrey and Vicky Connor swim the 200 medley relay in 2:09.09.
Kaitlyn Martin emerged with a pair of victories, taking the 200 freestyle in 2:12.74 and later adding a 500 freestyle victory in 5:54.98. Margrey swam to a time of 1:12.70 in the 100 butterfly.
As for Amy Sidorakis, she followed up winning the 200 individual medley (2:34.88) by teaming with Gummer, Vicky Connor and Dana Mitchell to claim first place in the 200 freestyle relay in 1:52.55.
Megan Eubank earned a victory in the 100 freestyle (1:01.60), with Paige Altman first in the 100 backstroke (1:11.21) and Abbey Whiting taking the 100 breaststroke in 1:18.90. To close the meet, Mitchell, Sidorakis, Connor and Sarah Duger put up a time of 4:11.68 in the 400 freestyle relay.
