After some wild results down the stretch, the Baldwinsville baseball team is part of the Section III Class AA playoff conversation.
In fact, the Bees, as the no. 8 seed, will be home Tuesday to face Oswego in the opening round of the AA playoffs, with the winner to get top seed Liverpool Thursday at 4:30. The semifinals are Saturday, with the title game June 2 at 4:30 at Alliance Bank Stadium.
As for B’ville’s softball team, it starts out as the no. 6 seed in Class AA, awaiting Saturday’s quarterfinal at no. 3 seed Rome Free Academy.
Whoever wins that game moves into the semifinals on June 3 at Hopkins Road Park, with the finals on June 6 at the Gillette Road complex in Cicero.
