Well-rested and ready to roll, Cicero-North Syracuse girls bowler Becca Olivadotti earned a spot in next month’s state championship tournament.
When Section III bowlers gathered Sunday at Utica’s Pin-O-Rama, Olivadotti and her CNS teammates scanned the tough conditions of a championship match.
Unfazed by this, Olivadotti finished sixth among individuals outside the winning side of Utica Proctor and grabbed the final spot in the state meet.
Olivadotti joins Olivia Bodley (Rome Free Academy), Morgan Reid (Sherburne-Earlville), Kassie O’Donaghy (East Syracuse-Minoa), Kayla Brucker (Whitesboro) and Megan Karasinski (Henninger) on the Section III all-star squad that will roll March 8 at Gates Bowl near Rochester.
On the team side, Utica Proctor, with a home-lane advantage, won with 5,565, 72 pins ahead of runner-up RFA.
