Meanwhile, Hamilton’s boys team has the no. 2 seed in Class D-1 (17 entries forced a split) and will face no. 7 seed Madison Friday to see who gets Oriskany or LaFargeville in next week’s D-1 semifinals.
Morrisville-Eaton also made it on the boys side, as the no. 8 seed in Class C-2, and will host no. 9 seed Waterville on Tuesday night in the opening round. The winner will try to topple top seed and defending champion West Canada Valley on Friday.
