The Marcellus girls basketball team went to Solvay on Tuesday night and got another big performance from Megan Tock to help put together a 50-36 victory over the Bearcats.
A big first quarter helped, as the Mustangs sped out to a 15-6 lead. For the rest of the night, any time the Solvay tandem of Tessa Pucello (18 points) and Liz Martinez (13 points) offered up a challenge, Marcellus answered.
Tock often did the honors, connecting on five 3-pointers to finish with 23 points on the night, while Lee finished with 10 points. Kate Gosson added six points.
With that win, Marcellus improved to 12-7 in advance of Thursday’s duel with Skaneateles that closes out the regular season.
