Clinching a winning record for the 2008-09 season, the Baldwinsville boys swim team improved to 6-4 by taking out Cicero-North Syracuse 97-73 last Tuesday night at the LeMoyne College pool the Northstars call home.
Danny Burke led the Bees with a pair of individual titles, following up the 50 freestyle (24.43 seconds) by winning the 100 breaststroke in 1:13.72. Chris Cadwell was victorious in the 200 individual medley in 2:11.33.
Nate Gilman needed 1:58.05 to prevail in the 200 freestyle, as Dan Ravas tore through the 100 butterfly in a quick 54.63 seconds. Bob Hennessy won the 100 freestyle (53.06 seconds) and Brandon Boyd swam the 500 freestyle in 5:46.98.
To start the meet, Nate Menapace, Nolan Miles, Pat Collins and Ben Landwersiek gave B’ville a first-place time of 1:55.81 in the 200 medley relay. Later and Gilman helped the Bees win the 200 freestyle relay in 1:32.69.
