Pushing its season mark to 5-3, the Baldwinsville boys swim team defended its home pool last Thursday night, beating Nottingham 52-38 at Baker High School.
As a starting point, the Bees took the 200 medley relay as Kevin Thayer, Bob Hennessy, Pat Collins and Nate Gilman earned a victory in 1:55.93. On his own, Gilman would later win the 50 freestyle in 24.87 seconds.
Chris Cadwell began his meet by winning the 200 freestyle in a swift 1:51.45. He then would join Hennessy, Nolan Miles and Dan Ravas as the Bees swam the 200 freestyle relay in 1:34.26, another quick time.
