Cooperstown offered up a slightly bigger challenge to the undefeated Canastota girls volleyball team on Thursday night, but the Raiders still prevailed in four games.
Following a 25-22 win a tight opening game, the Raiders lost the second game 25-18. That was all the Redskins would get, though, as the Raiders dominated the third and fourth games by scores of 25-10 and 25-12.
Before it was done, Jessica Patterelli had piled up 24 assists and 10 kills. Denae Rinaldo backed up her 11 kills with four aces, while Jessica DeNova had nine kills.
Each of the Willis sisters gained four kills as Sarah added five aces and Julie four blocks.
