Colleen D. Grevelding, 80, of Fayetteville, died peacefully at home surrounded by her family, on Saturday, Nov. 14, 2020. Born in Syracuse, she attended Syracuse public and parochial schools.
She worked for Jamesville-DeWitt School District and Hullar’s Coffee Shop. She was a member of the Fayetteville Firemans Auxiliary, Onondaga County Ladies Auxiliary and the Manlius Senior Center. She enjoyed bingo and camping. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.
She was predeceased by her husband, Robert R., Sr., in 2000; her son, Robert R., Jr., in 2014; her parents and two brothers.
She is survived by her children, Schauvone Craw (Jim Craw), Michael Grevelding (Sandy), Mitzi Longway (Kevin) and Colleen Cooper (Dan); six grandchildren, Michael, Brittany, Nicole, Heather, Erik and James; five great-grandchildren; brother, R. Daniel McCarthy; sister, Justine Slusarski; and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 18, at Eaton-Tubbs Fayetteville Chapel, 7191 E. Genesee St., Fayetteville. Services will begin on Thursday, Nov. 19, at 9:15 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, 400 Salt Springs St., Fayetteville. Burial will be in Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Fayetteville.
