About 150 people attended a vigil held Saturday, May 9, in honor of 2-year-old Nora Lamirande, who was killed in a fire that destroyed her home at 25 Naylor Circle in Van Buren on May 3. Among those in attendance was the entire Baldwinsville Volunteer Fire Department. The vigil was organized by neighbors to celebrate the girl’s short life, as well as to support her family. The neighbors have also organized a GoFundMe campaign to help the family; the campaign has raised close to $75,000 so far.
